Nonbinary Pride Flag Cake
This is a 4-layered mini nonbinary Pride flag cake with yellow “cream cheese” frosting (like all my other charms, it’s made of polymer clay)! I made this charm by layering flattened circles of the different colors, cutting each cake into 8 pieces, and “frosting” them with a mixture of yellow clay and bakeable medium. This one is particularly special to me, because I identify as nonbinary!
If you’re curious about the history of this flag, here’s a description, according to https://www.hrc.org/resources/lgbtq-pride-flags:
“The Nonbinary Pride Flag was created in 2014 to represent those individuals who do not identify with either binary gender or within the binary at all. The yellow stripe represents a gender outside of the binary. The white stripe stands for those who have multiple or all genders. The purple stripe symbolizes those who fall between the male/female binary. The black stripe represents those with no gender.”
