SCRWDRVR: Mixed Drink Machine

While studying at MIT, I participated in a hackathon called MakeMIT in 2018 with teammates Diann Huynh and Taylor Herr! In under 24 hours, we prototyped an automated drink machine that we called “SCRWDRVR.” I was responsible for the hardware for the drink machine, which included peristaltic pumps that were connected to various drinks, an 80/20 frame, and a few 3D-printed parts.

Though we didn’t win any awards, we had a blast making SCRWDRVR, and the judges got a kick out of seeing our machine make (non-alcoholic!) drinks! I later worked on another drink machine, SirMixABot (read about that here!).
